Denali Sunrise

We left her cabin at first light on snow machines to haul water from a nearby spring. The dawn was long, and on our return we paused yet again to linger and marvel and take tiny photos of the huge moon and the mountain. When we returned, the others had made breakfast and coffee and I kept glancing out the window to watch the light creep down Denali.

I made a painting about that.
